Sapphire and Garnet Brooch
Silver slug brooches with a combination of set stones.
Each of these brooches is hand carved from wax and cast into sterling silver and oxidised. The stones are set into the wax which go through the process of casting with the slugs. Reflecting the slimy movement of the creatures. This brooch has 9 black marquise sapphires, 14 red marquise garnets and 2 yellow sapphires.
Each brooch has a steel pin running down the centre of the hollow slug.
All sapphires and garnets are ethically sourced and are traceable back to the mine.
